Heralding a great transformation in the state's transport network, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday flagged off the trial run of the Jaipur Metro.
Before ending his life on Monday, Meena recorded a video alleging Joshi and a few other people had caused problems to him because of which he was forced to kill himself.
"All legislators will remain united and stay together till August 14," Congress chief whip Mahesh Joshi said after the CLP meeting chaired by Gehlot.
'Nobody understands Gehlot's politics.' 'The Congress high command should wake up.'
The devotees from Rajasthan and neighbouring states had been waiting at the temple premises in several queues to seek darshan on the occasion of 'Gyaras', an auspicious day as per Hindu calendar.
Some of the MLAs seen in the video are Indraraj Gurjar, Mukesh Bhakar, Harish Meena.
Apart from being the CM twice earlier, he has won a series of Lok Sabha and assembly elections from the state and headed the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee four times.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday said the government had requested Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to accord 'backward' status to Rajasthan in view of the water scarcity in the desert state, but the Centre had refused its plea. He was addressing the House during Question Hour, after a Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Legislative Assembly raised concerns about water purification practices adopted by the state public health and engineering department.
The meeting comes in the backdrop of the shock resignation of party veteran Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday and his letter to party president Sonia Gandhi in which he lashed out at Rahul Gandhi for 'demolishing the party's entire consultative mechanism'.
Sources said besides giving approval to the polls schedule, the members of the CWC, the party's highest decision-making body, could also express confidence in the leadership provided by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
